CHEM 155 - Environmental Chemistry An introduction to chemistry and chemical analysis with emphasis on the chemistry of the environment. Topics include the atmosphere and atmospheric pollution, and water and water pollution. Environmental issues examined from a chemical perspective are the ozone layer, climate change, acid rain and energy production. The focus of the laboratory is on methods for analyzing chemical samples. The course is designed as a first course for the non-major and students interested in environmental science.
