PHYS 371 - Experimental Physics II

An introduction to advanced experimental techniques and instrumentation in physics including lock-in amplifiers, vacuum systems and lasers, electronics, data acquisition and software, statistical analysis of data and report writing. Students will normally work on several shorter experiments and one longer project. Two lecture-lab sessions per week.
