These studies will be placed in the context of both Mendelian and Molecular genetics Gene manipulation by recombination, molecular cloning and genome editing will be discussed with respect to their application in development and disease. Additionally, current and cutting-edge technology in the field of genetics and molecular biology and their ethical implications will be studied as new controversies arise with their application.
