HIST 261 - American Environmental History This course deals with the interaction between people and the natural world in North America from colonial times to the present. Various ideas of nature, the environmental consequences of European settlement, the spread of market agriculture, and the impact of industrialization are among the topics that will be examined.
Credit(s): 4 General Education Designations: Critical Thinking, Historical Perspectives in Western Culture, Information Literacy, Local Studies Offered: every other year.
