HIST 150 - World War II By examining a wide array of primary sources, this course develops student skills in critical source analysis, narrative construction, and the assessment of causality. In addition to reading about grand strategy and the broad sweep of warfighting, we will explore the “new military history,” which focuses on culture, society, gender, memory, popular culture, and ethnicity. We will also play at least one Reacting to the Past simulation game.
