THTR 123 - Introduction to Design

This course will introduce students to the basic elements and principles of visual design. Students will not only learn how to manipulate line, shape, space, texture, and color, but how to use those elements in theatrical designs. This will include developing proficiency with media commonly used including colored pencils, watercolors, Photoshop, etc. Students will also develop and refine the ability to communicate design concepts and ideas.
