CHEM 101 - General Chemistry I The first course in a two course sequence of general chemistry for science majors. Among the topics usually covered this semster are elements, compounds and nomenclature; reactions and stoichiometry; reactions in aqueous solution; atomic structure, bonding and molecular structure; energy in chemical reactions; and an introduction to organic chemistry.
