The primary goal of the Computer Science major at Simpson College is to give students a foundation for advanced study and professional practice. The program outline below is designed to provide a coherent and broad-based coverage of the discipline of computing, giving a reasonable level of understanding in each of the areas and processes that define the discipline, as well as the interrelationships among these areas.
A student cannot get a Data Science Major in addition to a Computer Science Major.
