The Coaching minor provides students with the theoretical, psychological, and sociological aspects of coaching, to develop a strong foundation to work with athletes at a variety of competitive levels. The courses meet the State of Iowa requirements for a coaching authorization for non-educators.

SPSC 212 - Foundations of Coaching Credit(s): 2
PSYC 201 - Developmental Psychology Credit(s): 4

EDUC 115 - Child and Adolescent development Credit(s): 4
SPSC 170 - Sport Psychology Credit(s): 4
