BIOL 350 - Mammalogy This course will cover numerous topics, including adaptations, evolution, diversity, classification and taxonomy, ecology, natural history, biogeography, reproduction, behavior, and economic importance of mammals. The lab will focus on identification of mammals from preserved study skins and skulls, methods of collection and specimen preparation, and learning bones of the mammalian skeleton and skull. Field trips will introduce students to field methods for studying mammals and familiarize students with local mammals. Includes lab.
