EDUC 303 - Science/Health Education (PK through Middle School)
Includes content in health and science, physical science, earth/space sicences and life sciences in addition to current best-practice, research-based methods of inquiry-based teaching, and learning of science and health. Course content is aligned with Simpson’s Teacher Education Program, the Iowa Teaching Standards, school district standards, and the Iowa Core Curriculum. Includes the assessment, diagnosis and evaluation of student learning in science, the integration of technology in teaching science, and the classroom managment. Concurrent enrollment in EDUC 326 is required.
